Unveiling the Openings (400 Words):

THSTI has openings for six exciting positions across various departments:

• Consultant (Data Scientist) (1 Post): This role requires a PhD and a proven track record in image analysis for medical research.
• Project Research Scientist-II (Data Management) (1 Post): This position demands a postgraduate degree in computer science/data science with experience in data acquisition and analysis.
• Project Research Scientist-I (Data Science) (3 Posts): These positions require a postgraduate degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or bioinformatics with expertise in data science, medical image analysis, and AI.
• Project Research Scientist-I (2 Posts): A postgraduate degree in Life Sciences or Medical Sciences is essential for these positions.
• Quality Manager (1 Post): A PhD in Life Sciences or a postgraduate degree with extensive experience in relevant fields is required.
• Lab Technician (1 Post): This role requires a B.Sc. degree or a three-year Diploma in Medical Lab Technology with relevant experience.

Eligibility: Meeting the Requirements (600 Words):

Educational Qualification:

• Consultant (Data Scientist): A PhD in Computer Science/Data Science or a related field with a proven publication record in image analysis is mandatory.
• Project Research Scientist-II (Data Management):
  • Option 1: A first-class postgraduate degree in computer science/data science with a minimum of three years of experience in data acquisition and analysis.
  • Option 2: A second-class postgraduate degree in computer science/data science with a PhD and minimum of three years of experience in data acquisition and analysis.
  • Option 3: A first-class four-year graduate degree in computer science with three years of experience in a relevant field. Previous experience in clinical research projects is desirable.
• Project Research Scientist-I (Data Science):
  • Option 1: A first-class postgraduate degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, bioinformatics, or a related field with specific courses in data science, medical image analysis, and AI, along with proficiency in programming languages like Python and R.
  • Option 2: A second-class postgraduate degree with a PhD in the aforementioned fields with relevant coursework and programming skills. These positions will be located at THSTI’s Data Management and Data Science center (ADAPT).
  • Option 3: A first-class four-year graduate degree in computer science from a recognized university with experience in AI and medical imaging is desirable.
• Project Research Scientist-I:
  • Option 1: A first-class postgraduate degree (including integrated postgraduate degrees) in Life Sciences/Medical Sciences from a recognized university.
  • Option 2: A second-class postgraduate degree (including integrated postgraduate degrees) in Life Sciences/Medical Sciences with a PhD from a recognized university.
  • Option 3: MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS or its equivalent from a recognized university/institute. Previous experience in clinical research studies and good clinical practices is desirable.
• Quality Manager:
  • Option 1: A PhD in any branch of Life Sciences with three years of experience and at least one first-authored publication in a scientific journal.
  • Option 2: A postgraduate degree in Life Sciences with eight years of experience in relevant fields (as mentioned under desirable qualifications).
• Lab Technician: A B.Sc. degree or a three-year Diploma in Medical Lab Technology from a recognized institute/university with one year of experience in a relevant field.

Age Limit:

• The age limit varies depending on the position. It ranges from 35 to 70 years, with relaxation applicable as per Government of India Rules.

Salary Details:

• Salaries are also position-dependent, ranging from Rs. 28,520/- for Lab Technician to Rs. 1,00,000/- for Consultant (Data Scientist).
