• Upper Division Clerk (UDC):
  • Candidates must possess a graduate degree (Bachelor’s) in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent institution.
  • Similar to LDCs, typing skills of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on a computer are essential.
• Library Clerk:
  • While a matriculation (10th standard) or its equivalent from a recognized board is the minimum requirement, preference is given to candidates who have completed 10+2 or 12th standard.
  • Additionally, a certificate in Library Science from a recognized institution is an essential qualification.
• Library & Information Assistant (LIA):
  • This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized university or institute.
  • Candidates with a minimum of two years of professional experience in a library setting, such as those within central government institutions, autonomous bodies, public sector undertakings (PSUs), universities, recognized research institutions, or educational institutions, will be given preference.
