The Greater Chennai Corporation is seeking qualified individuals to join its team and contribute to the well-being of Chennai’s residents. We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

• Medical Officers: 30 vacancies
• Staff Nurses: 32 vacancies
• Multi Purpose Health Workers (MPHW) / Health Inspector Grade-II (Male): 12 vacancies
• Support Staff: 66 vacancies

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

• Medical Officer: MBBS degree
• Staff Nurse: Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or BSc. (Nursing) degree
• MPHW / Health Inspector Grade-II (Male):
  • 12th Class Pass with Biology or Botany and Zoology
  • SSLC Pass with Tamil language as a subject
  • Must possess two years of Multipurpose Health Worker (MPHW) (Male Candidates) / Health Inspector/ Sanitary Inspector Course Training
• Support Staff: 8th Class Pass

Age Limit:

• Medical Officer: Below 40 years
• Staff Nurse: Below 50 years
• MPHW / Health Inspector Grade-II (Male): Below 50 years
• Support Staff: Below 50 years

Salary Details:

• Medical Officer: Rs. 60,000/- per month
• Staff Nurse: Rs. 18,000/- per month
• MPHW / Health Inspector Grade-II (Male): Rs. 14,000/- per month
• Support Staff: Rs. 8500/- per month

Selection Process:

The selection process will consist of the following stages:

1. Shortlisting: Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted based on their applications and documents.
