Role Overview: Customer Service Associate
Purpose of the Role: As an Amazon Customer Service Associate, your main goal is to prevent issues, resolve queries, and delight our customers. You will be the initial point of contact for our customers, handling their inquiries via phone, chat, or email. This includes addressing everything from order and product questions to payment issues and website navigation. You will use a variety of tools to research and review solutions, ensuring effective communication with customers.
Work Schedule:
Hours of Operation: This role requires flexibility to work various hours to meet customer needs. You may be scheduled for overnight, daytime, or late shifts, working a minimum of 40 hours per week. This could be structured as 4×10-hour shifts or 5×8-hour shifts. Shifts are scheduled based on customer demand within the operating hours of 6 am to 11 pm, Sunday to Monday. Working on national holidays may be required. Exact schedules will be provided closer to your start date.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum Age: 18 years old
- Eligibility: Right to work in India
- Language Skills: Proficient in English (both written and oral)
- Computer Skills: Experience using a computer
- Availability: Ability to work various shifts from Monday to Sunday within the hours of 6 am to 11 pm
- Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work rotating shifts (early, late, overnight, weekends, and overtime as required)
- Work Environment: Quiet, distraction-free workspace with a dedicated desk and chair
- Technical Requirements: Minimum broadband connection of 20MB download speed and 8MB upload speed using a hard-wired Ethernet connection (no WiFi)
