Available Positions:

• Senior Project Associate (1 Post): This role requires a Ph.D. in Chemistry. Experience in lithium-ion batteries or other electrochemical energy storage systems is desirable.
• Project Associate – II (1 Post): Masters in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, Nanoscience, or Nanotechnology with a minimum of two years of experience is essential. Experience in Lithium ion Battery materials characterization and coin cell making is preferred.
• Project Associate – I (12 Posts): This role has multiple openings requiring either a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, Nanoscience, or Nanotechnology, or a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemical & Electrochemical Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering. Depending on the specific project, desirable skills may include experience in materials synthesis, photocatalytic water splitting, material chemistry, synthesis, characterization, artificial intelligence, machine learning, process design, catalyst synthesis, electrocatalytic water splitting, or data science/coding in Python and R.
• Project Assistant (4 Posts): A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields is required. Working knowledge in Nano materials synthesis and characterization, solar cells device fabrication and testing, metallurgical research, or coding experience can be advantageous depending on the assigned project.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age limit:
  • Senior Project Associate: 40 years
  • Project Associate – II & I: 35 years
  • Project Assistant: 50 years
• Relaxation in age limit for reserved categories:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwBD (Gen/ EWS): 10 years
  • PwBD (SC/ ST): 15 years
  • PwBD (OBC): 13 years

Salary Details:

• Senior Project Associate: Rs. 42,000/- pm + HRA
• Project Associate – II: Rs. 28,000/- pm + HRA
• Project Associate – I: Depending on selection criteria (i) or (ii) mentioned below:
  • (i) Rs. 31,000/- pm + HRA for scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests (CSIR-UGC NET) or GATE.
  • (ii) Rs. 25,000/- pm + HRA for others.
• Project Assistant: Rs. 20,000/- pm + HRA
