CLRI Chennai is inviting applications for various positions with a total of 05 vacancies across Scientific Administrative Assistant, Project Assistant, Project Associate-I, Junior Research Fellow, and Senior Research Fellow roles.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Scientific Administrative Assistant –

1. Essential: Graduate Degree in any discipline
2. Desirable: Working knowledge of computers, including MS Office; Minimum one-year experience in DTP.

2. Project Assistant –

2. Essential: B.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biology from a recognized University/Institute
3. Desirable: M.Sc. in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Polymer Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry; Experience in MS Office, English typing, Email communication; Good communication skills.

3. Project Associate-I –

3. Essential: M.Sc. in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Polymer Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry from a recognized University/Institute
4. Desirable: Experience in conducting skill development programs; Good communication skills.

4. Junior Research Fellow –

4. Essential: M.Sc Chemistry/Inorganic/Organic/Physical/Analytical Chemistry with 55% marks from a recognized University/Institute and passing of NET/GATE
5. Desirable: First class in M.Sc with knowledge in handling sophisticated instruments.

5. Senior Research Fellow –

5. Essential:

5. (a) M.Sc. in Chemical Science
6. (b) M.Tech in Chemical Engineering/Environmental Engineering

5. Desirable: Experience in pollution remediation, bio-electrochemical techniques, reactor design, and process optimization for industrial wastewater treatment; Knowledge in instrumental techniques.

Age Limit:

1. Scientific Administrative Assistant – 50 Years
2. Project Assistant – 50 Years
3. Project Associate-I – 35 Years
4. Junior Research Fellow – 28 Years
5. Senior Research Fellow – 32 Years

Salary Details:

1. Scientific Administrative Assistant – Rs.18,000/- + HRA
2. Project Assistant – Rs.20,000/- + HRA
3. Project Associate-I – Rs.25,000/- + HRA
4. Junior Research Fellow – Rs.31,000/- + HRA
5. Senior Research Fellow – Rs.42,000/- + HRA

Selection Process: CLRI Chennai may conduct a Walk-in Interview as part of the selection process.
