Vacancy Details:

The Indian Post Office is looking to fill the following positions:

1. Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) – 7 positions

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Valid driving license for light & heavy motor vehicles
• Knowledge of motor mechanism, including the ability to fix minor vehicle defects
• Minimum of three years of experience in driving light & heavy motor vehicles
• 10th standard pass from a recognized Board or Institute

Age Limit: (As on 20.01.2024)

• Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade): Between 18 to 27 years
• Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), Persons with Disabilities (10 years), and Ex-Servicemen as per Government rules

Salary Details:

Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade): Rs.19900 – Rs.63200 in Level – 2 as per Pay Matrix specified in Part A schedule of CCS (Revised Pay) Rules 2016 plus admissible allowances (Rs. 5200-20200(Pay Band-1) + Grade Pay Rs. 1900 under Pre-revised scale)

Selection Process:

Candidates will go through a trade test and a driving test as part of the selection process.

• Application fee: Rs.100/- (Women/SC/ST candidates are exempted)
• Payment through e-payment to CPMG CHHA TTISGARH (E-Biller ID: 70138) at any computerized post office in India using Challan Form by 20.01.2024¹
