The National Centre for Polar & Ocean Research (NCPOR), a premier institution under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India, is inviting applications for the positions of Project Scientist I and Project Scientist II.

Job Description

Project Scientists at NCPOR play a crucial role in conducting cutting-edge research in the fields of polar and ocean sciences. They are involved in various research activities, including:

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

• Project Scientist I:

• Project Scientist II:
  • Ph.D. in relevant disciplines.

Age Limit:

• Project Scientist I: 35 years
• Project Scientist II: 40 years

Relaxation of Age Limit:

• SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
• OBC Candidates: 3 years
• PwBD (Gen/EWS) Candidates: 10 years
• PwBD (SC/ST) Candidates: 15 years
• PwBD (OBC) Candidates: 13 years

Salary Details:

• Project Scientist I: Rs. 56,000 + HRA
• Project Scientist II: Rs. 67,000 + HRA

Selection Process:
