Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

• Technician-‘A’:
  • Applicants must possess a Secondary School Certificate (SSC), Matriculation certificate, or its equivalent (10th grade).
  • Additionally, they must hold a certificate from an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in one of the following trades: Fitter, Carpenter, Electronics, Carpenter, or Draughtsman.
  • Experience requirements vary based on the duration of the ITI course:
    • For candidates with a 2-year ITI certificate, one year of experience after obtaining the certificate is mandatory.
    • For candidates with a 1-year ITI certificate, two years of relevant experience after obtaining the certificate are required.
• Office Assistant Gr.III:
  • Applicants must possess a Higher Secondary Certificate (12th grade) or its equivalent.

Typing Skills: (Applicable to Office Assistant Gr.III only) * Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in typing on a computer, achieving a minimum speed of: * 35 words per minute (WPM) in English. * 30 words per minute (WPM) in Hindi. * This requirement must be supported by a certificate from a government-recognized institution.

Age Limit (as on September 30th, 2024):

• Technician-‘A’: Not more than 35 years.
• Office Assistant Gr.III: Not more than 25 years.

Age Relaxation:

• The upper age limit is subject to relaxation for certain categories of candidates:
  • Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST): 5 years
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC): 3 years
  • Persons with Disabilities (PwBD):
    • General/Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 10 years
    • SC/ST: 15 years
    • OBC: 13 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per Government Policy

Salary Details:

• Technician-‘A’: Rs. 37,845/- per month
• Office Assistant Gr.III: Rs. 33,190/- per month

Selection Process:

The selection process will involve two stages:

1. Aptitude Test or Skill Test (or both):
   • The nature of the test will depend on the specific position applied for.
   • The aptitude test will assess the candidate’s general knowledge and reasoning abilities.
   • The skill test will evaluate the candidate’s technical competence and practical skills relevant to the chosen position.
2. Certificate Verification:
   • Candidates who successfully clear the aptitude/skill test will be called for verification of their original certificates and documents.
