CSIR-NIIST Project Associate Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Project Associate-I – Master’s Degree in Biotechnology/Microbiology from a recognized University or Equivalent. Desirable: CSIR-UGC NET/GATE qualified.
2. Project Associate-I – Master’s Degree in Public Health from a recognized University or Equivalent. Desirable: CSIR-UGC NET/GATE qualified. Involves data collection, sample analysis, data compilation, and report preparation, with extensive field surveys in Kerala.
3. Project Associate-I – Master’s Degree in any branch of Life Sciences/Environmental Sciences from a recognized University or Equivalent. Desirable: CSIR-UGC NET/GATE qualified. Similar responsibilities involving data collection, sample analysis, data compilation, and report preparation, along with extensive field surveys in Kerala.

Candidates can benefit from age relaxation as per Government Rules. Refer to the CSIR-NIIST official Notification 2023 for more details.

Salary Details:

– Rs. 31,000/- +18% HRA for those with a valid CSIR-UGC NET Score (including lectureship) or a valid GATE score. – Rs. 25,000/- +18% HRA for those who do not fulfill the above criteria.

Selection Process:

– Shortlisted candidates will undergo an ONLINE INTERVIEW. The date and time will be communicated through our website in due course. – Please note that interim inquiries will not be entertained.
