Offered Positions:

• Senior Project Associate (1 Post): This role requires a Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech) in Polymer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognized university. Additionally, candidates should possess a minimum of four years of research and development (R&D) experience gained in R&D institutions, industries, or academic settings.
• Project Associate-I (3 Posts): These positions require either a Master’s degree in specific fields or a Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics.
  • The first position focuses on Bioinformatics or Computational Biology, with a desirable experience in handling next-generation sequence datasets (microbial genomes, soil metagenomes, and RNA transcriptome).
  • The second position seeks expertise in Life Sciences or Analytical Chemistry, with a preference for experience and knowledge of analytical studies using techniques like HPLC and GC-MS.
  • The third Project Associate-I role requires a Master’s degree in Biotechnology or a Bachelor’s degree in related fields (B.E/B.Tech in Biotechnology or Food Engineering). Prior experience and expertise in fermentation or reactor design is desirable.
• Project Assistant (3 Posts): These positions require a three-year diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or Material Science Engineering.
  • Experience and expertise in handling large-scale reactors and pilot plant operation is preferred for the first Project Assistant role.
  • The second Project Assistant position seeks experience in operating and maintaining plastic or hydraulic machinery.
  • The final Project Assistant role requires a diploma in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Material Science, Production, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Thermal Engineering. Prior experience with GATE or NET qualification is a plus for this position.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age Limit (as of July 19th, 2024):
  • Senior Project Associate: 40 Years
  • Project Associate-I: 35 Years
  • Project Assistant: 50 Years
• Age Relaxation: Age limits can be relaxed for candidates from reserved categories:
  • Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST): 5 years
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC): 3 years
  • Persons with Disabilities (PwBD):
    • General/Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 10 years

    • OBC: 13 years

Salary Details:

• Senior Project Associate: Rs.42,000/- + 18% House Rent Allowance (HRA)
• Project Associate-I:
  • Rs.31,000/- + 18% HRA (for those with CSIR-UGC NET Score or GATE)
  • Rs.25,000/- + 18% HRA (for those without CSIR-UGC NET Score or GATE)
• Project Assistant: Rs.20,000/- + 18% HRA
