Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Project Junior Medical Officer:
- Essential qualification: MBBS degree from a recognized university.
- Desirable Qualification:
- Awareness of the latest guidelines in TB management.
- Conducted/involved in research projects.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of Computer Applications and report writing.
- Project Assistant (Research Assistant):
- Essential Qualification: Graduate in Science from a recognized university with three years’ work experience from a recognized institution OR Master’s degree in Science subjects.
- Project Technician III (Field Worker):
- 12th Pass in science subjects And
- Two years diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or PMW OR
- One year DMLT plus one year required experience in a recognized organization. OR
- Two years field/laboratory experience* in a Govt. recognized organization. *B.Sc. degree shall be treated as 3 years’ experience.
- Project Data Entry Operator Grade B:
- Intermediate or 12th Pass in science stream from recognized board with DOEACC ‘A’ level from a recognized institute and/or 2 years’ experience in EDP work in Government, Autonomous, PSU or any other recognized organization.
- A Speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour (kdph) through speed test on the computer.
- Project Data Entry Operator Grade A:
- Intermediate or 12th Pass from recognized board.
- A speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through speed test on the computer.
Age Limit:
- Project Junior Medical Officer – Not exceeding 35 years.
- Project Assistant (Research Assistant) – Not exceeding 30 years.
- Project Technician III (Field Worker) – Not exceeding 30 years.
- Project Data Entry Operator Grade B – Not exceeding 28 years.
- Project Data Entry Operator Grade A – Not exceeding 25 years.
Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.
Salary Details:
- Project Junior Medical Officer – Rs.60,000/- p.m.
- Project Assistant (Research Assistant) – Rs.31,000/- p.m.
- Project Technician III (Field Worker) – Rs.18,000/- p.m.
- Project Data Entry Operator Grade B – Rs.18,000/- p.m.
- Project Data Entry Operator Grade A – Rs.17,000/- p.m.
Selection Process:
ICMR-NIRT may follow the following process to select the candidates:
- Walk-in written test.
- Interview.

Also, bring self-attested copies of all credentials in support of educational qualifications, age, caste/community, Aadhar Card, and affix a color passport-size photograph on the application form while reporting for the walk-in written test/interview on the mentioned date and time. Original Certificates of all these credentials should also be carried for verification.
