Eligibility Criteria:
- For Non-ITI Category:
- Candidates must have passed Madhyamik (class Xth std or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate, with 40% marks in Mathematics and Science each.
- For ITI Category:
- Applicants should have passed the relevant trade test (prescribed for the trade of Tailor/Men) from any institute recognized by NCVT or SCVT or any other authority specified through Gazette notification of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship/Ministry of Labour & Employment. They must also have passed Madhyamik/Class X std or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks both in Matriculate/Class X std and ITT.
There is no upper age limit for candidates, but the minimum age for engaging as an Apprentice is 14 years.
Salary Details:
- For Non-ITI Category: 1st Year – Rs.6000/- PM & 2nd Year – Rs.6600/- PM
- For ITI Category: 1st Year – Rs.7700/- PM
Selection Process: The selection process involves the preparation of a Merit List followed by Certificate Verification.
