Educational Qualification:

1. Research Associate –

1. Essential Qualifications:

1. Ph.D. (Botany/ Zoology / Life Sciences / Environmental sciences / Wetlands) with a minimum of Two years of experience in Wetland Studies and documentation.
2. Minimum of 5 publications in peer-reviewed/ SCI Journals.
3. Excellent proficiency in written and oral English & Tamil languages.

1. Desirable:

1. Experience in field identification of various wetland flora and fauna.
2. Experience in writing management plans.
3. Valid Two/Four-wheeler Driving license.

2. Senior Research Fellow/ Junior Research Fellow –

2. Essential Qualifications:

2. Postgraduate degree with a minimum of 55% marks in life sciences (Wildlife Biology/ Zoology/Conservation Biology/ Biodiversity and Conservation/ Wildlife Conservation and Action/ Biodiversity and Wildlife related subjects). Minimum two years of experience as a Junior Research Fellow or Junior Research Biologist (For SRF).

2. Desirable:

2. Research experience on birds and mammals.
3. Excellent communication skill in English.
4. Proficiency in the Hindi language.
5. Two-wheeler/Four Wheeler Driving License.

3. Junior Research Biologist –

3. Essential Qualifications:

3. Postgraduate degree with a minimum of 55% marks in life sciences (Wildlife Biology/ Zoology/Conservation Biology/ Biodiversity and Conservation/ Wildlife Conservation and Action/ Biodiversity and Wildlife/Anthropology related subjects).

3. Desirable:

3. Excellent communication skills in English.
4. Proficiency in the Hindi language.
5. Two-wheeler/Four-Wheeler Driving License.

Age Limit: (As on 22.01.2024)

1. Research Associate – 35 Years
2. Senior Research Fellow/ Junior Research Fellow – SRF 32 Yrs & JRF 28 Years
3. Junior Research Biologist – 28 Years

The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
