State Bank of India (SBI) is welcoming applications for the following positions:

1. Data Analyst

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Data Analyst:

• B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics/Electronics and Communication, MCA/M.Sc. in Statistics/MS in Data Science, or an equivalent degree in a relevant discipline with First Division (60%) from a recognized University/Institute.
• Certification in Data Science is desirable if the primary qualification is not in Data Science.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years in Bank/PSU/Corporate in the field of Data Analytics, Data Science, advanced statistics, SPSS/data interpretation using statistical software (R/Python/SQL, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of MS Office is compulsory. Knowledge of Power BI/Power Query/Tables is advantageous. XML experience is a plus.
• 2-3 years of working experience in R & Python is preferred.

Specific Skills:

• Knowledge of R and Python languages.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Capacity to identify problems using data modeling techniques.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
• Understanding of storage architectures such as Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Lake houses.
• Understanding of Time series forecasting Batch/Real-Time analytics and model deployment.
• Experience in Relational Databases or any NoSQL databases, including Graph databases.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in data mining with knowledge in Applied Statistics and productive analysis.
• Experience in Fraud Analysis.
• Experience in Payment Systems Frauds/Cyber Security.

Age Limit: (As on 01.08.2023)

• Data Analyst – Min 25 years Max 35 years
• Upper age limit relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC; 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s), and for Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. of India rules.

Salary Details:

• Data Analyst – Rs. 20 lacs to Rs. 25 lacs

Selection Process:

• Shortlisting-cum-Interaction followed by CTC Negotiation.

Shortlisting:

• Fulfilling minimum qualification and experience does not guarantee an interview call.
• A committee will decide shortlisting parameters, and the selected candidates will be called for an interview.

Interview:

• Interview carries 100 marks. Qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank.

Merit List:

• Prepared based on interview scores in descending order. In case of ties, age will be considered for ranking.

CTC Negotiation:

• Negotiation conducted in order of the merit list drawn from interview marks.

Application Fee:

• General/EWS/OBC candidates: Rs. 750/-
• SC/ST/PwBD candidates: No fees/intimation charges.
