Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification (As on 09.11.2023):

1. Accounts Officer Class – III: Must have passed the Final Examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) / Cost Accountants (ICWA).
2. Accounts Officer in Tamil Nadu Medical Service Corporation: Must have passed the Final Examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India / Institute of Cost Accountants of India / ICWA Course.
3. Manager – Grade III (Finance) and Senior Officer (Finance): CA /ICWA.
4. Manager (Finance): Must possess any degree with C.A inter / ICWA (CMA) inter.

Note: The educational qualification should have been obtained after passing 10+2, and the results should have been declared on or before the date of notification.

Age Limit (As on 01.07.2023):

• No Maximum Age limit for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBC/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, BCMs, and Destitute Widows of all categories.
• For ‘Others’: 32 years (not completed), 37 years for those in regular service under the Government of Tamil Nadu (not completed).

Age Concession:

• Persons with Benchmark Disability: No maximum age limit for certain categories, and others are eligible for age concession up to 10 years.
• Ex-servicemen: No maximum age limit for certain categories, and for ‘Others,’ the maximum age limit is 50 years (48+2).

Salary Details:

1. Accounts Officer Class – III: Rs.56,900 – 2,09,200 (Level 23)
2. Accounts Officer: Rs.56,900 – 2,09,200 (Level 23)
3. Manager – Grade III (Finance): Rs.56,900 – 2,09,200 (Level 23)
4. Senior Officer (Finance): Rs.56,100 – 2,05,700 (Level 22)
5. Manager (Finance): Rs.37,700 – 1,38,500 (Level 20)

Selection Process:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
2. Oral Test (Interview)

Centres for Examination: Chennai, Madurai & Coimbatore

Application Fee:

• Registration Fee: Rs.150/- (for those within the validity period of 5 years)
• Examination Fee: Rs.200/-
