Responsibilities

• Document Review: Ensure all documents are reviewed according to the project protocol.
• Quality Control and Assurance: Perform Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) tasks following the UnitedLex Document Review Manual guidelines.
• Searches and Highlighting: Create searches and apply persistent highlighting to documents.
• Feedback Provision: Provide effective written and verbal feedback to Associates on their performance during assignments.
• Time Entry Validation: Validate the team’s time entries to ensure accuracy.
• Issue Escalation: Escalate any substantive or project-related issues to the Team Lead or Manager.
• Team Leadership: Lead team huddles and share huddle notes with the team.
• Decision Log Drafting: Draft entries for the client Decision Log, which will be reviewed by the Manager before finalization.
• Metrics Preparation: Prepare and deliver case metrics, including productivity and quality metrics, for Team Lead or Manager review.
• Workflow Management: Manage the workflow to ensure smooth project progression.
• Process Execution: Assist the Team Lead or Manager in executing core UnitedLex Document Review processes.
• Client Communication: Occasionally participate in client calls to discuss project updates.
• Project Updates: Manage and communicate updates regarding the project.
• Training Assistance: Assist in training team members on project protocols and updates to the Decision Log.
• Mentorship: Mentor Associates to enhance their skills and performance.
• Departmental Training: Contribute to departmental domain trainings and Employee Satisfaction (ESAT) initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of legal fundamentals, methods, and procedures.
• MS Office Proficiency: Basic proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work on weekends and stretch hours to meet client deadlines.
• Educational Background: Possess an LL.B. or L.L.M.

Working Conditions

• Shift Flexibility: Ready to work a 9-hour shift anytime between 8:30 am and 7:30 pm, with the ability to extend beyond regular hours if needed.
• Project Duration: Full-time hire (FTH) duration depends on project requirements and availability.
• Travel: Willingness to travel for business, both for short and long durations.
• Policy Adherence: Must comply with all specific company policies without exception.
• ISO/IEC Guidelines: Compulsory adherence to ISO/IEC 27001:2005 guidelines.
