DSSSB is inviting applications for the following posts:

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: (As on 07.02.2024)

1. Section Officer (Horticulture) – Municipal Corporations of Delhi:

• Essential: Degree in Agriculture or in Science with Botany as a subject from a recognized university or equivalent.
  • Desirable: Experience in the field of Ornamental Horticulture / Landscape Gardening.

• Section Officer (Horticulture) – New Delhi Municipal Council:

• Essential: I class or II class degree in B.Sc. (Agriculture) with 2 years’ experience in Ornamental Horticulture or Landscaping in Government or Semi-Government or Organizations of repute.
  • Experience Essential: As mentioned above in Essential Educational Qualification Column.

Age Limit: (As on 07.02.2024)

1. Section Officer (Horticulture) – Municipal Corporations of Delhi: 18-27 years
2. Section Officer (Horticulture) – New Delhi Municipal Council: 18-23 years

• Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Go through DSSSB official Notification 2024 for more reference.

Salary Details:

1. Section Officer (Horticulture) – Municipal Corporations of Delhi: Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400/- (Pay Level-6), Group: ‘B’
2. Section Officer (Horticulture) – New Delhi Municipal Council: Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400/- (Pay Level-6), Group: ‘C’

Selection Process:

DSSSB may follow this process to select candidates:

1. Written Test (Tier – I & Tier – II)
2. Skill Test / Endurance Test

Application Fee:

• ₹100/- (One Hundred only)
• Women candidates and candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, PwBD & Ex-serviceman category are exempted from paying the Application fee.
• Ex-servicemen who have already secured employment in civil side under Central Government /Government of NCT of Delhi or its Autonomous /Local Bodies on a regular basis after availing of the benefits of reservation given to ex-servicemen for their re-employment are NOT eligible for fee concession.
• The candidates submitting their application online should pay the requisite fees only through SBI e-pay. Other modes of payment will not be considered, and the application of such candidates will be rejected outright, and payment made shall stand forfeited.
• Application Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Candidates fulfilling all the above criteria will have to apply online only through the link on the DSSSB website in the careers webpage under the current openings section i.e. from 09.01.2024 to 07.02.2024. No other mode of application will be accepted.
