Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Civilian Switch Board Operator (CSBO) Grade-II:

1. Essential:

1. Matric or equivalent from a recognized Board
2. Proficiency in handling Private Board Exchange (PBX) board (Experience Certificate).

1. Desirable:

1. Fluency in spoken English and Hindi

2. Cook:

2. Essential:

2. Matriculation or equivalent
3. Must have knowledge of Indian Cooking and proficiency in the trade.

3. S/Wala:

3. Essential:

3. Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board.

3. Desirable:

3. Conversant with the duties of the respective trades with one year’s experience in the trade.

4. Messenger:

4. Essential:

4. Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board.

4. Desirable:

4. Conversant with the duties of the respective trades with one year’s experience in the trade.

5. Washerman:

5. Essential:

5. Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board.
6. Must be able to wash military/civilian clothes thoroughly well.

6. Chowkidar:

Age Limit: (As on 10.12.2023)

• For UR/Gen: 18-25 years
• Relaxation In Age Limit:

• For ST: Five years.
• For OBC (Non Creamy Layer): Three Years.
• Relaxable for Government servant up to 35 years as per orders/instructions issued by the Central Government.
• Age relaxation will be applied only in case of candidates who produce the valid certificates of caste/category.
• ST/OBC candidates applying against unreserved posts will not be given age and other concessions meant for ST/OBC.

Salary Details:

1. Civilian Switch Board Operator (CSBO) Grade-II – Rs 21,700/- + allowances (Level-3, Cell-1) as per new pay matrix of 7th CPC.
2. Cook – (7th CPC Level -2) Pay Matrix Rs 19,900-63,200
3. S/Wala – (7th CPC Level -1) Pay Matrix Rs 18,000-56,900
4. Messenger – (7th CPC Level -1) Pay Matrix Rs 18,000-56,900
5. Washerman – (7th CPC Level -1) Pay Matrix Rs 18,000-56,900
6. Chowkidar – (7th CPC Level -1) Pay Matrix Rs 18,000-56,900

Selection Process:

HQ Central Command (Signals Branch) may follow the following process to select the candidates:

1. Written Test
2. Skill Test

How to Apply:

• Application must be on plain paper as per the enclosed format, typed or neatly handwritten.
• Applications must be sent to Headquarters Madhya Bharat Area (Signals), PIN – 901124.
• The candidates must clearly superscribe “Application for the post of ____________” on the top of the envelope in capital letters. The reserved category, including Ex-servicemen/Persons working in Central/State Govt/PSU, and Persons with Disability should also write their category on the left-hand corner of the envelope.
• Application must be accompanied by a self-addressed registered envelope duly affixed with the appropriate postal stamp and a photocopy of all the requisite documents, duly self-attested.
