Educational Qualifications:

a. A valid driving license for both light and heavy motor vehicles. b. Proficiency in Motor mechanism, with the ability to address minor defects in vehicles. c. A minimum of three years of experience in driving both Light and Heavy motor vehicles. d. Successful completion of 10th standard from a recognized Board or Institute. e. Desirable qualification: Three years of service as a Home Guard or Civil Volunteer. Age Limit: (As of 24.11.2023)

1. Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) – Between 18 to 27 years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-Servicemen as per the Govt. of India rules. Relaxations in the Upper Age limit will be provided according to Govt. Rules. Refer to Madhya Pradesh Postal Circle’s official Notification 2023 for detailed information.

Salary Details:

1. Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) – Rs. 19900-Rs 63200 in Level-2 as per the Pay Matrix specified in Part A of the schedule of CCS (Revised Pay) Rules 2016 plus admissible allowances [ Rs 5200-20200 (Pay Band-1) + Grade Pay Rs 1900 under the Pre-revised scale]. Selection Process:

Madhya Pradesh Postal Circle may employ the following process for selecting candidates:

Submit an Indian Postal Order for Rs.100/- along with the application form from any Post Office. Women candidates and those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from the payment of fees. How to Apply:

Eligible candidates can submit their applications in the prescribed format in Annexure-l, affixing their recent passport-size photograph, duly filled in along with enclosures. Enclose an Indian Postal Order for Rs.100/- from any Post Office as the application fee in an envelope superscribed with “APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF STAFF CAR DRIVER (ORDINARY GRADE).” Address it to “Asstt Director (Estt/Rectt), O/o Chief Postmaster General, M.P.Circle Bhopal-462027,” ensuring it reaches by SPEED POST/REGISTERED POST ONLY on or before the last date, i.e., 24.11.2023. Applications sent through private courier, unregistered post, ordinary mail, or other means will not be accepted.
