Job Description:

• Translate a variety of documents, including reports, research papers, presentations, and official communications, from English to Hindi and vice versa, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to the specific terminology and style required by NIEPA.
• Proofread translated documents to identify and rectify any errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, or sentence structure.
• Assist with maintaining and updating NIEPA’s translation glossary and terminology database.
• May be required to perform other translation-related tasks as assigned.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification:
  • Essential Qualification:
    • A Master’s degree from a recognized university with either English or Hindi as a main subject at the degree level, securing a minimum of 50% marks. OR
    • A Master’s degree with Hindi and English as main subjects, securing a minimum of 50% marks, along with a recognized diploma certificate in translation from English to Hindi and vice versa.
  • Desirable Qualification:
    • Knowledge of the Indian Educational System.
    • Proficiency in proofreading.
• Experience:
  • Essential Qualification:
    • A minimum of two years’ experience in translation work from English to Hindi and vice versa, gained in a government or private organization.
• Age Limit:
  • As of July 26, 2024, applicants must not exceed 30 years of age.

Salary Details:

• The selected candidate will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 29,200 – 92,300/- per month.
