ICMR-NIRT is inviting applications for various positions. The details of the vacancies are as follows:

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Project Research Scientist II (Medical): MBBS/BDS with Three years of experience, or MBBS/BDS with MPH/PhD, or MBBS/BDS + Post Graduate Degree.
2. Project Technical Support III (Senior Investigator): Three years Graduate in Life Science + Three years experience OR Post Graduate in Life Science.
3. Project Technical Support III (Medical Social Worker): Three years Graduate in Social Science/ Social Work/ Sociology/ Medical Sociology/ Psychology/ Anthropology + Three years experience OR Post Graduate in the mentioned disciplines.
4. Project Technical Support III (Senior Technical Assistant): Three years Graduate in Life Science + Three years experience OR Post Graduate in Life Science.
5. Project Technical Support III (Field Investigator): Three years Graduate in Life Science + Three years experience OR Post Graduate in Life Science.
6. Project Technical Support II (Laboratory Technician): 12th in Science + Diploma (MLT/DMLT) + Five Years Experience in the relevant field.
7. Project Technical Support II (X-Ray Technician): 12th in Science + Diploma (Radiology/Radiography/Image Technology) + Five Years Experience in the relevant field.
8. Project Technical Support I (Health Assistant): 10th + Diploma (MLT/DMLT) + Two Years Experience in the relevant field.
9. Project Data Entry Operator Grade B: Intermediate or 12th Pass in the science stream with DOEACC ‘A’ level or 2 years’ experience in EDP work. Speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour (kdph) on the computer.
10. Senior Project Assistant (UDC): 12th pass or equivalent with 5 years’ administrative work experience OR Graduate with 2 years’ administration work experience. Speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour (kdph) on the computer.
11. Project Driver cum Mechanic: Matric/S.S.C or equivalent with a valid driving license issued by RTO. Two years’ experience in a recognized organization/Institute.
12. Project Multi-Tasking Staff (Helper): High School or equivalent.

1. Project Research Scientist II (Medical) – Not exceeding 40 years.
2. Project Technical Support III (Senior Investigator) – Not exceeding 35 years.
3. Project Technical Support III (Medical Social Worker) – Not exceeding 35 years.
4. Project Technical Support III (Senior Technical Assistant) – Not exceeding 35 years.
5. Project Technical Support III (Field Investigator) – Not exceeding 35 years.
6. Project Technical Support II (Laboratory Technician) – Not exceeding 30 years.
7. Project Technical Support II (X-Ray Technician) – Not exceeding 30 years.
8. Project Technical Support I (Health Assistant) – Not exceeding 28 years.
9. Project Data Entry Operator Grade B – Not exceeding 28 years.
10. Senior Project Assistant (UDC) – Not exceeding 28 years.
11. Project Driver cum Mechanic – Not exceeding 25 years.
12. Project Multi-Tasking Staff (Helper) – Not exceeding 25 years.

Salary Details:

1. Project Research Scientist II (Medical) – Rs.80,000/- p.m. + HRA as admissible.
2. Project Technical Support III (Senior Investigator) – Rs.28,000/- p.m. + HRA as admissible. – Daily allowance for fieldwork days as per ICMR rules.
3. Project Technical Support III (Medical Social Worker) – Rs.28,000/- p.m. + HRA as admissible. – Daily allowance for fieldwork days as per ICMR rules.
4. Project Technical Support III (Senior Technical Assistant) – Rs.28,000/- p.m. + HRA as admissible. – Daily allowance for fieldwork days as per ICMR rules.
5. Project Technical Support III (Field Investigator) – Rs.28,000/- p.m. + HRA as admissible. – Daily allowance for fieldwork days as per ICMR rules.
6. Project Technical Support II (Laboratory Technician) – Rs.20,000/- p.m. + HRA as admissible. – Daily allowance for fieldwork days as per ICMR rules.
7. Project Technical Support II (X-Ray Technician) – Rs.20,000/- p.m. + HRA as admissible. – Daily allowance for fieldwork days as per ICMR rules.
8. Project Technical Support I (Health Assistant) – Rs.18,000/- p.m. + HRA as admissible. – Daily allowance for fieldwork days as per ICMR rules.
9. Project Data Entry Operator Grade B – Rs.18,000/- p.m. – Daily allowance for fieldwork days as per ICMR rules.
10. Senior Project Assistant (UDC) – Rs.17,000/- p.m. – Daily allowance for fieldwork days as per ICMR rules.
11. Project Driver cum Mechanic – Rs.16,000/- p.m. – Daily allowance for fieldwork days as per ICMR rules.
12. Project Multi-Tasking Staff (Helper) – Rs.15,800/- p.m. – Daily allowance for fieldwork days as per ICMR rules.

Selection Process:

ICMR-NIRT may follow this process to select candidates:

1. Walk-in written test
2. Interview

How to Apply:

Interested and eligible candidates with the specified qualifications may appear for a Walk-in-Interview at the ICMR-National Institute Of Occupational Health, Meghani Nagar, Ahmedabad-380016, Gujarat. Candidates must bring all original and self-attested copies of certificates/testimonials, a valid identity proof (Voter ID card/ PAN Card/Driving License/Passport/Aadhar Card), and one passport-size photograph. No candidate will be allowed to appear in the interview without the original certificates.
