RRC WCR is accepting applications for the following positions:

Apprentices will be appointed in various Units and trades as outlined in Annexure “A”. Unit-wise slots are detailed below:

Annexure “A”

Educational Qualification: (As of 14.01.2024)

Candidates must have successfully completed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board. Additionally, candidates should possess the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT. Note: Candidates must have already passed the prescribed qualification on the date of the notification. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination and those awaiting the results are not eligible.

Age Limit: (As of 14.01.2024)

• Candidates should have completed 15 years of age by 14/12/2023 and should not exceed 24 years of age as of the cutoff date of the Notification.
• The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST candidates, 03 years for OBC candidates.
• For Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBDs), the upper age limit is relaxed by 10 years (15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC).
• The upper age limit is relaxable by an additional 10 years for ex-servicemen, considering the service rendered in Defence Forces, plus 03 years provided they have put in a minimum of 6 months of service at a stretch. This is except for ex-servicemen who have already joined the Government service on the Civil side after availing the servicemen status for the purpose of their engagement.

Selection Process:

RRC WCR may follow this process to select candidates:

1. Merit List
2. Certificate Verification

Application Fee:

• For all candidates except those mentioned in (ii) below: Rs. 136/- (Rs.100/- as Application Fee and Rs. 36 as Processing Fee).
• SC/ST, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), Women: Rs.36/- (As Processing Fee only)

Note: Applicants are required to pay the Application Fee as indicated in the table above through Online Payment Mode Only.
