The United India Insurance Company (UIIC) is inviting applications for the following positions:

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: (As of September 30, 2023)

1. Assistant – Must hold a graduate degree from a recognized university AND possess knowledge of reading, writing, and speaking the regional language of the State of Recruitment. Age Limit: (As of September 30, 2023)

Minimum Age: 21 years Maximum Age: 30 years Candidates born between October 1, 1993, and September 30, 2002 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.

Relaxation in upper age limit:

• 5 years for SC/ST
• 3 years for OBC
• 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s)
• As per Government of India rules for Ex-Servicemen.

Salary Details:

1. Scale of pay: Rs. 22,405-13,05(1)-23,710-1,425(2)-26,560-1,605(5)-34,585-1,855(2)-38,295-2,260(3)-45,075-2,345(2)-49,765-2,500(5)-62,265/-
2. Emoluments: Total emoluments approximately Rs. 37,000/- p.m. in the initial stage in a Metro city. Allowances may vary based on the place of posting. Additionally, benefits such as Lump Sum Domiciliary Medical Benefits, Membership of Group Mediclaim Policy, Leave Travel Subsidy, and other Staff welfare schemes will be as per company rules.

Selection Process:

UIIC may follow this selection process:

1. Online examination, Regional Language Test
2. Certificate Verification

Exam Centers in Tamil Nadu: Chennai, Coimbatore, Dharampuri, Madurai, Salem, Thanjavur, Thiruchirapalli, Tirunelvelli, Tiruvallur, Tiruvannamalai, Vellore, Thirupur, Erode, Virudhunagar, Dindigul, Namakkal, Nagercoil, Perambalur, Pudokottai, Kanyakumari, Tuticorin, Cuddalore & Villupuram

Application Fee:

• All Applicants (except SC/ST/PwBD, Permanent Employees of the COMPANY): Rs. 1,000/- (Application fee including service charges) + GST as applicable
• SC/ST/PwBD, Permanent Employees of the COMPANY: Rs. 250/- (service charges only) + GST as applicable

Note: The application fee must be paid online.
