ICMR-Vector Control Research Centre (VCRC) is inviting applications for the following positions:
1. Project Technical Support-I (Technician/Field Assistant)

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Project Technical Support-I (Technician/Field Assistant) –
- Essential Qualification: 10th + Diploma (MLT/DMLT) + two years of experience in the relevant field
- Desirable Qualification:
- Experience in community-based research projects
- Experience in TB program or related activities
- Good communication skills
- Fluency in Tamil
Age Limit: (As on 19.12.2023)
- Project Technical Support-I (Technician/Field Assistant) – Not exceeding 28 years
- Candidates’ relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided as per Government rules. Refer to the ICMR-VCRC official Notification 2024 for more details.
Salary Details:
- Project Technical Support-I (Technician/Field Assistant) – Rs. 18,000 + HRA per month
Selection Process:
- ICMR-VCRC may follow the subsequent process to select candidates:
- Written test
- Interview
How to Apply:
- Interested and eligible candidates with the specified essential qualification should attend the Walk-in-Interview at the Institute. Bring all original and self-attested copies of certificates/testimonials, a valid identity proof (Voter ID card/PAN Card/Driving License/Passport/Aadhar Card), and one passport-size photograph. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the interview without the original certificates.
