VOC Port Trust is inviting applications for the following positions:
- Hindi Officer Cum Senior Assistant Secretary
- Fire cum Assistant Safety Officer
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Hindi Officer Cum Senior Assistant Secretary:
- Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level OR
- Master’s Degree from a recognized University in English with Hindi as a subject at the degree level OR
- Master’s Degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi/English with Hindi and English as subjects at the degree level.
- Desirable: Adequate knowledge of Tamil
2. Fire cum Assistant Safety Officer:
- Educational Qualification:
- Graduate ship examination of Institute of Fire Engineers (London) OR B.Sc. with Chemistry as one of the main subjects OR B.E. (Fire), recognized by AICTE, Nagpur University.
- Divisional Fire Officers’ Course at National Fire Service College, Nagpur, or Advance Diploma Course at National Fire Service College, Nagpur.
- Possession of Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence.
- Minimum 5 years of service in a Fire Service Organization in an Industrial town with a rank not below Station Officer.
- Medical Standard:
- Height: 168 Cms.
- Weight: 50 Kgs.
- Chest Measurement: Normal – 81 Cms. Exp. 86 Cms.
- Vision: Normal in both eyes, color vision is essential, and wearing of glasses is not permissible except for employees over the age of 40 years.
- Knowledge of swimming.
Age Limit:
- Class I – Minimum Age: 18 years, Maximum Age: 30 years
- Class II – Minimum Age: 18 years, Maximum Age: Between 30 and 45 Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.
Salary Details:
- Class I – Rs.50,000 /- in the scale of Rs.50,000-160,000 and other admissible allowances.
- Class II – Rs.40,000 /- in the scale of Rs.40,000-140,000 and other admissible allowances.
Selection Process:
- For Class I posts: Online test followed by an interview/skill test.
- For Class II posts: Written examination and skill test.
- Selection based on overall performance in Online Examination and Interview/Skill test.
Application Fee:
- SC/ST/PwD candidates/VOCPA and other Major Port Authority Employees: Rs. 100/- (Intimation Charges Only) + GST @18%
- All other candidates: Rs. 475/- (Application fee including intimation charges) + GST@18% Note: The fee is payable through Online Payment Mode Only.
