• MFSc degree in disciplines such as Fish Nutrition, Fish Physiology & Biochemistry, Aquaculture, Aquatic Animal Health Management, Environmental Management, Fish Biotechnology, Microbiology, and other related fields for the project.MSc in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Zoology, Marine Biology, and other relevant disciplines for the project.MTech in Biotechnology, Industrial Microbiology, and other relevant disciplines for the project.

• The candidates should meet one of the following criteria: a. Scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests (NET) including lectureship (Assistant professorship) and GATE. b. Candidates who gained admission to MFSc, MSc, or MTech through national-level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as ICAR, DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc., and have completed post-graduation.
  • Desirable: Research or work experience in aquatic animals, chemical, microbiological laboratory techniques, or field data collection.

• Technical Assistant:

• Essential Qualifications: Graduate with the ability to assist in feeding trials, feed preparation, and laboratory analysis.

Age Limit:

1. Junior Research Fellow:

• Below 35 years for men and 40 years for women (with relaxation for SC/ST and OBC candidates as per the Government of India norms).

• Technical Assistant:

• 21 to 45 years with relaxation as per rules.

Candidates will receive relaxation in the upper age limit as per Government rules. Refer to the CIBA official Notification 2023 for further details.

Salary Details:

1. Junior Research Fellow:

• Rs. 31,000 + 24% HRA per month.

• Technical Assistant:

• Rs. 15,000 per month (Consolidated).

Short-listed candidates will be contacted via email for the interview.
