Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Contractual Drilling Engineer –

1. Bachelors Degree in Petroleum/Mechanical Engineering of four years duration from a Government-recognized institute.
2. Post Qualification Work Experience of more than 03 (Three) years in the upstream Oil & Gas industry.
3. Must possess a valid Well Control Certificate (IWCF Level-4/IADC-L4.).

2. Contractual Chemist –

2. Post Graduate in Chemistry of (02) Two years duration from a Government-recognized institute.
3. Post Qualification Work Experience of more than 05 (five) years in the Preparation, Maintenance, and Supply of Water Base Drilling Fluid (Mud) in Drilling well. OR
4. Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering of four years duration from a Government-recognized institute.
5. Post Qualification Work Experience of more than 07 (Seven) years in the Preparation, Maintenance, and Supply of Water Base Drilling Fluid (Mud) in Drilling well.

Age Limit: (As on 08.01.2024)

1. Contractual Drilling Engineer – Minimum age: 24 years, Upper age limit: 40 years
2. Contractual Chemist – Minimum age: 24 years, Upper age limit: 40 years

2. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Government Rules. Refer to the OIL official Notification 2024 for more reference.

Contract Emoluments:

1. Contractual Drilling Engineer – Rs. 80,000/- per month
2. Contractual Chemist – Rs. 1,00,000/- per month

Selection Process:

OIL may follow the following process to select the candidates:

1. Walk-in-Interview

How to apply:

Interested and eligible candidates possessing the aforementioned Essential Qualifications only may appear for the Walk-in-Interview at the Institute with all Original and self-attested copies of all certificates/testimonials and a valid identity proof (Voter ID card/PAN Card/Driving License/Passport/Aadhar Card) along with one passport-size photograph. No candidate will be allowed to appear in the Interview without the Original Certificates.

• Venue: Mahanadi Basin Project (erstwhile Bay Exploration Project), Oil India Limited, IDCO Towers, 3rd Floor, Janpath, Bhubaneswar-751022, Odisha, India.
