The Military Nursing Service is inviting applications for the following posts:

1. MNS; Selection for Short Service Commission (SSC) – 2023-24

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed BSc (Nursing)/PB BSc (Nursing)/MSc (Nursing) from an INC recognized University. Additionally, they should be registered Nurses and Midwives with a State Nursing Council.

Age Limit (as of 26.12.2023): Candidates applying for MNS Selection for Short Service Commission (SSC) – 2023-24 should be born between 25 Dec 1988 and 26 Dec 2002 (both days inclusive), making them between 21 and 35 years old on the last date for application submission.

Selection Process: The selection process includes a Computer-based Examination (CBT) and an Interview. The CBT will be conducted in English, with no negative marking.

Exam Center in Tamil Nadu: Chennai, Coimbatore & Madurai

Application Fee: Fee Payable: Rs. 900/- Note: The application fee should be paid online only, as indicated in the table above.

How to Apply: Candidates meeting the specified criteria should apply online through the Military Nursing Service website. The application link will be available in the careers webpage under the current openings section at from 11.12.2023 to 26.12.2023. No other mode of application will be accepted.

Important Dates:

• Starting Date for Submission of Application: 11.12.2023
• Last date for Submission of Application: 26.12.2023
• Facility for correction of genuine mistakes (if any) in Online Application Form by the candidate: 27.12.2023 to 28.12.2023 (up to 11:30 PM)
• Downloading Admit Cards from the NTA website: 1st week of January 2024
• Date of Examination in CBT mode: 14 January 2024
• Display of Question Paper attempted by the Candidate and Answer Keys for inviting challenges: To be displayed on the NTA website
• Declaration of Result: To be displayed on the NTA website
• Duration of exam: 2 1/2 Hour (150 minutes)
• Timing of Exam: 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM
